Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, reliable web applications for business and customer needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs covering applications, databases, APIs, integrations, and ETL operations.
• Improve application performance, stability, maintainability, and production reliability.
• Write code, documentation, unit and integration tests, test plans, and troubleshoot defects.
• Plan and deliver small technical projects while coordinating with project management, QA, infrastructure, and other teams.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of web development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies for mid- to high-scale websites.
• Strong database development skills with an RDBMS, including Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• In-depth knowledge of C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, Entity Framework, WCF, and Web API.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, microservices architecture, .NET design patterns, source-code management, and website performance testing.
• Experience in Agile environments and with SVN or Git.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, independent working ability, and flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones.
