Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, reliable web applications, databases, APIs, integrations, reports, and ETL operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement code, documentation, unit tests, integration tests, test plans, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.
• Improve application performance, stability, maintainability, and production reliability through development standards, design patterns, testing, and proactive issue resolution.
• Mentor new and junior web developers and contribute through code reviews, knowledge sharing, documentation, and process improvements.
• Plan and deliver small projects independently while coordinating with Project Management, QA, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide occasional off-hour support for production problem resolution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of strong web development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies for mid- to high-scale internet websites, including a sustained record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Strong database development skills with any relational database management system, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• In-depth knowledge of SVN, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, Entity Framework, WCF, Web API, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and .NET design patterns.
• Experience with code management and source code management tools, including SVN or Git.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and performing website performance testing.
• Strong technical competency in an environment valuing quality, commitment, growth, and innovation.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and switch between them quickly, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, QA, infrastructure, and other teams; flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
