IT Business Solution Manager (ERP)

What you will do

• Establish and maintain a regional IT strategy aligned with global IT strategy and Japan business needs.
• Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and harmonization of back-office business systems and processes.
• Manage IT staff, in-house teams, remote teams, and third-party outsourced providers.
• Coordinate multiple projects and daily IT operations while balancing delivery speed, governance, and risk management.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions with systems analysts, solution architects, developers, and security specialists.
• Act as the Japan IT Business Partner and escalation point across Japan, Asia, and global headquarters.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience delivering IT projects and technology development and deployment projects, particularly involving EDI, ERP, or WMS.
• At least 5 years of IT management experience, including staff management, budget control, and vendor contract management.
• Experience independently leading back-office projects and managing several projects simultaneously.
• Fluent Japanese and English; Japanese nationality or JLPT N2 certification or higher is required.
• Strong project coordination, communication, leadership, negotiation, and business stakeholder management skills.
