IT Senior Engineer, Software (Eversource Energy Service Company)

Location: Hybrid work based in Berlin, Connecticut, with 5% domestic travel between Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Salary: $147,430–$153,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the full lifecycle of software products, including capital projects and operational support.
• Design, develop, and deliver technology-based solutions in collaboration with IT management, software development, architecture, security, product support, and external vendors.
• Make software design decisions, assess tradeoffs and risks, and improve the maintainability of legacy code.
• Configure, support, and integrate IBM Maximo and SAP Ariba applications.
• Improve processes, systems, products, and operational standards to enhance performance.
• Take emergency restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, hours, or location when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in Information Technology or a related occupation.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, Jira or VSTS DevOps, Java, Python, J2EE application servers, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure Cloud.
• Experience supporting IBM Maximo 8 or 7.x, including the Maximo Integration Framework, Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, Database Configuration, and automation scripting.
• Experience with SAP Ariba, Ariba Network, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Integration Toolkit, and integrations between Ariba and platforms such as Maximo.
• Experience supporting ETL integrations using WebMethods or Informatica.
