Fullstack Software Engineer (React/Node.js)

hirify.global develops Modo Casino, a US Social+ gaming platform founded in 2022.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Architect backend services and APIs with Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL.
• Lead fullstack initiatives including game lobbies, authentication, promotions, and payment integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design, business stakeholders, and QA to deliver scalable features.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, SEO, and responsiveness.
• Support AWS infrastructure, testing, monitoring, code reviews, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States for this remote role.
• At least 2 years of professional frontend engineering experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• At least 5 years of backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, and familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Understanding of state management, design systems, component architecture, A/B testing, web analytics, and responsive design.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Exposure to online gaming, payment processing, streaming, messaging, or event-driven systems.
• Experience supporting high-traffic applications or gaming platforms.
