Team Manager Auto Field Inspectors (Insurance)

Location: Mexico City; primarily in the office

What you will do

• Manage the allocation of claims across field and desktop inspectors.
• Provide technical referrals, manage performance, and support the professional and technical development of the team.
• Monitor complex auto-loss developments and communicate trends to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain appraisal best practices, governance standards, regulatory compliance, and service-level performance.
• Use balanced scorecards and KPIs to improve claims accuracy, cost control, profitability, and customer service.
• Develop and implement initiatives that improve processes, service delivery, and economic outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience managing people and teams, including coaching, performance management, effective listening, and succession planning.
• Specialist knowledge of technical auto claims and auto material damage assessment procedures.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with underwriting, distribution, actuarial, finance, executive management, brokers, and major account clients.
• Ability to interpret policy wording accurately and consistently.
• Experience negotiating and mediating with third-party administrators, body shops, and spare-parts providers.
• Experience conducting technical claims audits, analyzing KPI data, and training claims teams.
