Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Seattle, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Salary: $129,960–$246,240 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Architect algorithmic governance and integrity solutions across account integrity, incentive abuse, content safety, and financial risk.
• Build high-precision risk representation models using video, live streams, audio, behavioral sequences, and social graphs.
• Research and counter automated attacks, harmful AIGC, data drift, and rapidly changing adversarial tactics.
• Design self-evolving defense systems for large-scale risk infrastructure.
• Integrate generative AI, LLMs, and multimodal technologies into risk detection, adjudication, and enforcement workflows.
• Balance model precision, interpretability, product goals, and automated enforcement at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong machine learning foundation with experience applying Transformer and GNN architectures.
• Experience designing model evaluation systems that balance technical performance with product goals.
• Strong engineering and coding skills in at least one of Python, C++, or Go.
• Familiarity with distributed computing, such as Spark or Flink, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment.

Nice to have

• Experience building LLM-based agents for task planning, tool use, or autonomous decision-making.
• Experience with LLM post-training or fine-tuning, including SFT, RLVR, or RLHF.
• Experience with video understanding and multimodal representation using visual, audio, and textual features.
• Background in integrity, anti-abuse, safety, or trustworthy AI at a large-scale internet platform.
