Salary: 16,720,000 - 19,000,000 ISK (annual base)

What you will do

• Manage and lead a team of 3-7 engineers, including a technical lead, focusing on impactful deliveries
• Define team evolution and interactions with the rest of hirify.global
• Recruit and grow the team
• Lead identification of opportunities to improve development velocity and developer experience
• Influence software development future and guide technical direction organization-wide
• Collaborate with engineers to enable new development capabilities through infrastructure

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience
• Rare mix of intelligence, empathy, integrity, and technical skills to earn trust of technical team
• Focus on maximizing impact for self and team
• Ability to provide valuable input to technical or product discussions
• Oriented around multi-year consequences of decisions
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies
