CISO (Cybersecurity)

Location: Work from anywhere; optional access to offices in Vilnius.

Salary: From €25 per hour, based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Act as a fractional or external CISO for multiple clients on project or long-term engagements.
• Guide organizations through complete compliance implementation processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-management plans.
• Perform compliance assessments against NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, and other frameworks.
• Prepare and implement security documentation, including policies and procedures.
• Participate in audits, advise clients on practical implementation, and work with the TrustGuru platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a CISO or equivalent information-security leadership role.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT.
• Familiarity with NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience with risk management and audits.
• Ability to work with clients in a consultative capacity.
• Clear structured thinking and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance projects or audits.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification.
• Consulting background.
