Total cash range: $184,500–$258,000 annually, with potential pay up to $295,000 based on sustained performance

What you will do

• Build and maintain Layla AI's cross-platform mobile experience in Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android.
• Own feature delivery from low-level design through release, including API integration, data modeling, and network/offline data handling.
• Develop conversational trip-planning and booking flows in collaboration with Product, Design, and backend engineering.
• Improve mobile quality through automated testing, continuous integration and delivery, performance monitoring, and observability.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities such as assistant-driven planning, personalization, and recommendations safely into mobile features.
• Develop native interoperability patterns and contribute to Flutter architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Production experience building and shipping Flutter and Dart mobile applications, with ownership from design through release and support.
• Experience delivering iOS and Android applications from a shared codebase, including API integration and data modeling.
• Ability to design testable, maintainable, and performant mobile codebases.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and responsible integration of AI/ML concepts into products.

Nice to have

• Advanced Flutter/Dart proficiency, mobile UI/UX, state management, and performance optimization experience.
• Experience with Swift/SwiftUI and/or Kotlin/Jetpack interoperability through platform channels or native modules.
• Technical design leadership across architecture decisions, API contracts, and data models spanning multiple services.
• Experience with accessible mobile interfaces, AI/ML integrations, AI-assisted development tools, modularization, and mentoring engineers.
