TL;DR
Finance Performance Solutions Manager (Finance Transformation): Leading consulting projects that optimize finance organizations through operating model assessments, process improvement, technology deployments, automation, and post-merger integration with an accent on accounting, finance technology, and client delivery. Focus on managing concurrent projects, building client relationships, developing teams, and identifying AI use cases across the Finance and Accounting Operating Model.

What you will do
- Lead projects that improve finance operating models, business processes, finance technology, shared services, automation, and transformation.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements, including timelines, budgets, risks, financials, and client communications.
- Provide hands-on support with accounting close activities, data cleanup and reconciliation, and accounting standards adoption.
- Develop client relationships, proposals, new solutions, industry specializations, and business development opportunities.
- Build and mentor delivery teams while collaborating across consulting, audit, tax, and other service lines.
- Support local and North American projects and growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5–7 years of experience in professional services or a CPA firm, including at least 2 years leading project teams.
- Experience leading at least one full-lifecycle technology implementation or finance transformation.
- Expert knowledge of finance and accounting functions, including financial processes, controls, people, and technology.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and proposal-development skills.
- Ability to travel more than 50% locally and internationally.
Nice to have
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience with finance technology and ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Intacct/Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, BlackLine, Workiva, Adaptive Insights, or Oracle EPM/Hyperion.
- Understanding of AI use cases and phased AI adoption in finance and accounting.
- Experience with post-merger integration, carve-outs, team development, Six Sigma, or PMP.
- Experience in real estate, insurance, private equity, institutional funds, or public-sector organizations.
