What you will do
- Convert scanned, OCR-generated, and standard PDF regulatory documents into clean, semantic HTML while preserving accuracy, formatting, and structure.
- Structure complex document elements including tables, images, lists, footnotes, and multi-column layouts.
- Complete coding tasks using HTML, CSS, C#, .NET, and JavaScript, including book-structuring solutions.
- Identify and resolve OCR errors, formatting inconsistencies, software defects, and performance issues.
- Test HTML output against source documents and publishing requirements, including accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with senior analysts, QA specialists, and project teams through reviews, bug resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in technical content, publishing, or software.
- Practical knowledge of HTML and CSS for structured document output.
- Foundational experience with C# and .NET, plus familiarity with JavaScript.
- Understanding of PDF-to-HTML conversion and content structuring, including multilingual, OCR, and non-OCR documents.
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, task-management skills, and ability to meet agreed timelines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively, with willingness to learn AI-driven technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with PDF and OCR conversion tools.
- Familiarity with AI-driven conversion or productivity tools.
- Working knowledge of Jira or Power BI.
- Basic experience with debugging and testing tools.
- Background in FinTech, BPO/BPM, IT services, SaaS, or digital publishing.
