Product Manager, E-Commerce Recommendations (AI)

Location: San Jose, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days per week

Salary: $149,040–$311,600 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Lead the product roadmap for e-commerce recommendation strategies across short-video and livestream feeds.
• Optimize product discovery, user engagement, conversion, and long-term ecosystem value.
• Analyze buyer journeys, creator dynamics, and merchant needs to design multi-objective recommendation logic.
• Partner with R&D, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and business operations to deliver scalable algorithmic solutions.
• Adapt recommendation strategies to regional consumer behavior, inventory differences, and cultural preferences across overseas markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 1 year of product management experience.
• Strong quantitative skills for metric definition, algorithm analysis, A/B experimentation, and strategic insights.
• Ability to manage projects end to end, align cross-functional stakeholders, and solve unstructured problems.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, curious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with recommendation, search, or advertising strategies.
• Experience in e-commerce, livestreaming, or machine learning applications.
