Retail Investment Services Associate (Finance)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States. In-office training is required five days per week for eight weeks; after successful completion, the role is eligible for a hybrid schedule with up to one day per week from home.

Base salary: $50,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and overtime eligibility.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound client service requests.
• Process mutual fund transactions and provide account information.
• Encourage client adoption of digital capabilities.
• Apply knowledge of financial services, legal, tax, and regulatory matters to guide clients.
• Use a consultative approach to understand client needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Review unresolved inquiries, ensure follow-up and closure, and identify opportunities to support asset growth.

Requirements

• High school or secondary school education, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 0+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to complete eight weeks of instructor-led training on a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm local-time schedule.
• Ability to work in the office five days per week during training and transition to the stated hybrid arrangement afterward.
• FINRA licenses are not required for this role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably inbound or phone-based.
• Experience in a fast-paced contact center environment.
