TL;DR
Technical Artist (Unity) (Game Art/Unity): Creating and optimizing 2D and 3D visual assets, animations, particle effects, and shaders for mobile games with an accent on performance, visual quality, and cross-device compatibility. Focus on implementing Unity particle systems, building Amplify Shader and HLSL shaders, optimizing Unity UI and assets, and resolving graphics and animation issues across Android and iOS devices.
Location: On-site in Kraków, Poland. A relocation package is available for candidates moving to Kraków.

What you will do
- Bridge art and development by integrating visual assets into game projects.
- Optimize assets and Unity UI for mobile performance without compromising visual quality.
- Identify and resolve graphics and animation issues across Android and iOS devices.
- Create 2D and 3D animations and prototype visual effects.
- Develop particle effects with Unity's Particle System.
- Create and optimize Amplify Shader and custom HLSL shaders using built-in rendering and the Universal Render Pipeline.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development.
- Experience with Unity, lighting, animation principles, asset pipelines, and performance profiling.
- Strong knowledge of Unity shader systems, including Amplify Shader and HLSL.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Blender.
- Experience with Git and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Knowledge of mobile asset optimization for Android and iOS.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with C# scripting for custom tools and workflows.
