What you will do
- Execute QA checks on multi-asset class factor model outputs and data pipelines, investigate root causes, and improve anomaly detection and signal quality.
- Build Python and SQL automation for recurring QA tasks, data analysis, and workflow optimization.
- Oversee daily production runs, manage incidents from triage through root-cause analysis and resolution, and maintain operational runbooks.
- Coordinate factor model distribution to internal and external clients, manage delivery exceptions, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Implement AI tools, MCP integrations, and agentic workflows for anomaly flagging, pattern detection, and operational analysis.
- Develop metrics dashboards, documentation, cross-training, and process improvements that strengthen operational resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in data operations, production support, or data-intensive financial services.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data pipelines, model distribution, and operational quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage production incidents end-to-end and drive operational transformation through automation and AI adoption.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and client-facing stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure in a globally distributed environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with capital markets, risk analytics, financial data products, Snowflake, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with AI/LLM tools, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile or SAFe frameworks, sprints, PI Planning, and Jira.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field.
