Balance Game Designer (Mid-Core Battler)

Location: Remote or from an office in Cyprus, Armenia, or Kazakhstan. A relocation package is available for official office locations.

What you will do

• Balance the stats and abilities of new heroes for Hero Wars: Alliance.
• Evaluate interactions between new characters and the existing roster of more than 80 heroes.
• Develop and maintain synergies, counter-picks, and the evolving game meta.
• Analyze player behavior and post-release feature performance.
• Participate in the full feature lifecycle from concept and GDD through release, analytics, and iteration.
• Assess combat feel, ability readability, player usage, battle pace, and the overall combat experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game design.
• Strong knowledge of successful mid-core games, including battlers and 4X strategy games.
• Understanding of hero balancing, abilities, synergies, counter-picks, and combat design.
• Experience analyzing player behavior and feature performance is required for the role.
