Combat Game Designer

Location: Remote or from offices in Cyprus, Armenia, or Kazakhstan. Relocation support is available for official office locations.

What you will do

• Design ability mechanics for new heroes in Hero Wars: Alliance.
• Define how abilities feel and how clearly they are communicated during combat.
• Analyze how players use heroes in battle and evaluate the effects on game balance and the meta.
• Work with hero synergies, counter-picks, and the constraints of the existing combat system.
• Own features from concept and GDD through release, analysis, and future iterations.
• Collaborate with developers, artists, UI/UX designers, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game design.
• Strong knowledge of successful mid-core games, including battler and 4X strategy games.
• Strong foundation in balance design.
• Ability to assess combat mechanics, hero performance, synergies, counter-picks, and roster impact.
