What you will do
- Prepare seed samples for laboratory analysis.
- Plate and plant seed samples according to written procedures.
- Archive, return, and dispose of samples in line with company policies.
- Maintain sample documentation, logs, and standards inventory.
- Clean and maintain the laboratory work area and working environment.
- Support Laboratory Technicians, follow quality procedures, and report discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions safely, accurately, and on time.
- Comfort working with numerals and monitoring data on computer screens.
- Excellent visual acuity.
- Ability to work efficiently across multiple projects in a fast-paced professional environment.
Nice to have
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a science-related program such as Biology or Agriculture.
- Experience in a laboratory setting.
