Corporate Controller (Finance)

hirify.global is hiring a corporate finance leader to oversee accounting operations, reporting, controls, compliance, and accounting team development.

What you will do

• Direct daily workflows across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and enforce financial policies and internal controls.
• Lead internal and external audits and coordinate corporate tax filings with external advisors.
• Partner with financial planning teams on budget variances, cash flow analysis, and operational decisions.
• Hire, train, and mentor accounting staff while supporting short- and long-term operational strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is strongly preferred or required by most employers.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management or leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Corporate Controller.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of economic and banking processes and ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Strong financial data analysis skills and experience managing financial projects.
• Payroll experience focused on streamlining accounting processes.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
• Experience using AI tools to streamline workflows.
