Senior Consultant - Controls Lead, Chief Control Office (Banking)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; applicants must already have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of employment.

What you will do

• Support the design and implementation of group-wide internal control architecture, taxonomy, and inventory for non-financial risks.
• Define control quality measures and oversee the ongoing management, governance, and reporting of the control inventory.
• Work with Control Owners to harmonize controls and align internal standards across the organization.
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase the use of automated controls and machine learning.
• Collaborate with first- and second-line risk and control partners to improve risk and control management practices.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in banking organizations, with expertise in risk and control management and programme delivery.
• Practical experience developing or implementing risk and control frameworks.
• Project or programme management experience, including planning, issue escalation, and facilitating workshops or forums.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics concisely.
• Existing right to work in Ireland is required; employment permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
