Expert Wireless Production Testing (Automotive)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with most office-based roles onsite three days a week

Annual gross base salary: 142,500–209,000 L

What you will do

• Support R&D testing, including prototype and new product validation.
• Develop and implement production test concepts and strategies for wireless automotive systems.
• Perform measurements, debugging, failure analysis, and root cause analysis in R&D and production environments.
• Transfer test solutions from R&D into manufacturing and improve production test coverage, efficiency, repeatability, and robustness.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams on corrective actions and product quality.
• Create and maintain test documentation, specifications, procedures, and reports.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Academic or practical knowledge of electronics, hardware systems, measurement and test engineering, signal analysis, debugging, embedded systems, or system validation.
• Basic knowledge of electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Understanding of production testing principles and manufacturing workflows.
• Familiarity with test automation or scripting using Python, Matlab, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of English, willingness to travel when necessary, and a valid driver’s license.

• Internship, laboratory, or student-project experience in testing or validation.
• Experience collaborating with teams across different geographies.
