Corporate Communication Manager (Corporate and Financial Communications): Supporting group-level corporate communication, media relations, financial communications, internal communications, and strategic projects with an accent on Swiss media relations, capital-markets topics, and executive positioning. Focus on translating complex business topics into clear communications, coordinating sensitive and time-critical messaging, and working with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Location: Hybrid work based at SMG Offices, Thurgauerstrasse 36, 8050 Zürich, Switzerland, with flexibility to work remotely.

What you will do
- Support corporate communication strategies and concepts aligned with business objectives.
- Manage media relations, including enquiries, monitoring, press releases, statements, Q&As, and spokesperson activities.
- Lead media relations and PR activities for the Finance & Insurance business.
- Support financial communications with Investor Relations for results announcements, the Annual Report, and the Annual General Meeting.
- Develop key messages, speaking points, presentations, and communication content for C-level executives.
- Support internal communications and strategic group-wide projects, including sustainability and cybersecurity, while coordinating agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications.
- Experience in media relations and a good understanding of the Swiss media landscape.
- Experience in or strong interest in financial and capital markets communications.
- Excellent writing, editorial, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or time-critical topics.
- Fluent German and mandatory English, both written and spoken.
