Founding AI Engineer (ML/Data)

Location: Fully remote across the US, Canada, Europe, UK, Brazil, and LATAM

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus 1%–3% equity

hirify.global is building a product with an ML-powered matching engine and LLM-powered features.

What you will do

• Build and improve the matching engine using machine learning models and embeddings.
• Design and maintain data pipelines that support model training and product features.
• Ship LLM-powered features using frontier models.
• Own model evaluations and monitoring to detect silent degradation.
• Work directly with the founders to identify high-leverage AI opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience across ML, data engineering, or production AI systems.
• Strong Python and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG, or agentic patterns.
• Ability to own data pipelines alongside modeling work.

Nice to have

• Startup or founding team experience.
• Previous founder experience.
