Head of Risk Malaysia and Thailand (Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage and execute the risk management strategy and activities for hirify.global Malaysia and Thailand.
• Maintain the risk management framework covering risk identification, assessment, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting.
• Support the Board of Directors and CEO in policyholder protection and risk-profile management.
• Facilitate quarterly Risk and Capital Committee meetings and engage with regulators when required.
• Maintain the Risk Appetite Statement, key risk indicators, internal capital adequacy assessment process, and top and emerging risk registers.
• Oversee operational risk management, climate-related risk deliverables, material outsourcing reviews, business initiatives, escalation, and team talent development.

Requirements

• Experience in broad-scope risk management or general insurance operations.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Self-motivated, able to drive initiatives independently, and comfortable working in a dynamic multinational environment.

Nice to have

• Partial or full qualification in actuarial studies, enterprise risk management, CFA, or a related profession.
