Electrical Engineer - Gas Turbines Package (with German)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; 5 days per week in the office. The role involves approximately 25% travel.

Base minimum pay: CZK 1,162,644 per year.

What you will do

• Design electrical systems for gas turbine and power generation packages.
• Configure standard products to meet project requirements and define interfaces with customer LV/MV systems.
• Specify and evaluate electrical components and prepare technical specifications, documentation, and manuals.
• Prepare purchasing orders, parts lists, manufacturing documentation, and follow up on internal production.
• Coordinate mechanical, controls, software, and electrical drafting activities as a project leader.
• Support production, sales, after-sales service, suppliers, workshops, and customer technical clarification meetings.

Requirements

• Formal education in Electrical or Control Engineering, or equivalent practical knowledge.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering, commissioning, or panel design.
• Proven experience with medium-voltage systems, low-voltage distribution, and supervisory and control systems.
• Experience with machinery certification and CE directives, including ATEX, LV, EMC, and Machine directives.
• Fluent technical English and German are required.
• Strong technical specification writing, project execution, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Electrical drafting experience with AutoCAD and PromisE.
• Experience designing electrical systems for cogeneration power plants and balance-of-plant systems.
• Experience with Windchill, P&IDs, logic diagrams, cause-and-effect matrices, and electrical schematics.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and MS Office tools.
• Experience in power generation or the oil and gas industry.
