Electrical Engineer - Gas Turbines Package (with German) (Gas Turbines)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; onsite five days per week

Base minimum pay: 1,162,644 CZK

What you will do

• Design electrical systems for gas turbine power-generation packages.
• Configure standard products to project requirements and define interfaces with customer low- and medium-voltage systems.
• Specify and evaluate electrical components, prepare technical specifications, documentation, manuals, and purchasing orders.
• Prepare parts lists and manufacturing documentation, oversee drafting, and follow up on internal production.
• Coordinate with mechanical, controls, software, and electrical drafting teams as a project leader.
• Support suppliers, workshops, production, sales, after-sales service, and customer technical clarification meetings; travel approximately 25%.

Requirements

• Formal education in electrical or control engineering, or equivalent practical knowledge.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering, commissioning, or panel design.
• Experience with medium-voltage systems, low-voltage distribution, supervisory and control systems, and electrical system engineering.
• Knowledge of machinery certification and CE directives, including ATEX, LV, EMC, and Machine directives.
• Fluent technical English and German required.
• Strong technical writing, project execution, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• AutoCAD and PromisE drafting experience, including single-line diagrams and detailed electrical drawings.
• Experience designing electrical systems for cogeneration power plants and balance-of-plant systems.
• Windchill, P&ID, logic diagrams, cause-and-effect matrices, electrical schematics, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and MS Office experience.
• Experience in power generation or the oil and gas industry.
