Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer, New Grad - UK Government

What you will do

• Operate and support hirify.global software through monitoring, alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
• Deploy hirify.global products at customer sites and migrate deployments to updated infrastructure types.
• Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
• Automate manual workflows, operational processes, and runbooks.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for production issues and participate in an on-call support schedule.
• Develop infrastructure solutions in the Foundry and Apollo platforms.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems independently using observability tools and service logs.
• Comfort working with large-scale production systems, including load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, or configuration management.
• Active UK Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain UK Security clearance.
• Strong autonomy, responsibility, communication, and collaboration skills.
