Global Director – Vulnerability Management & Security Configuration (Cybersecurity)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; full-time, onsite role. Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application and throughout employment. Employment permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global strategy for vulnerability management and security configuration across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, endpoints, and platforms.
• Transform traditional vulnerability management into an AI-enabled, risk-based capability using contextual prioritization, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Operate and scale the enterprise program across discovery, prioritization, remediation, governance, continuous compliance, and attack-surface reduction.
• Develop risk models using threat intelligence, exploitability, asset criticality, and external exposure.
• Define hardening baselines, continuous monitoring, drift detection, and alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Lead approximately four employees and ten contractors while providing executive reporting, exception management, and SLA governance.

Requirements

• Deep cybersecurity experience in vulnerability management and security engineering.
• Experience building and scaling enterprise security programs.
• Strong background in infrastructure security, cloud security, configuration management, and hardening.
• Experience integrating platform-focused DevSecOps practices.
• Track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives and working at both executive and deep technical levels.
• Existing right to work in Ireland is required; employment permit sponsorship is unavailable.
