Trade Compliance Analyst

Location: Wuhan, Hubei, China; onsite, full time

The role supports supply-chain compliance with international trade and export-control regulations.

What you will do

• Monitor domestic and international shipments for compliance with security regulations, including recordkeeping, reporting, tolling, and expiration requirements.
• Maintain records for ITAR hardware, technical data, and defense services, including jurisdiction determinations and internal correspondence.
• Perform license determinations, apply exceptions and exemptions, and file license applications when required.
• Conduct customer screening, Denied Party Check reviews, end-user certificate verification, and high-risk customer and product reporting.
• Research and maintain ECCN classifications, coordinate certifications with the EMEA trade compliance team, and keep license-determination records updated in SAP.
• Support the Export Compliance Officer and management with compliance questions, order-block releases, process improvements, special projects, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Typically less than two years of relevant experience.
• Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices, and applicable standards.
• Ability to develop solutions for defined tasks using established approaches and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to collaborate with management and team members and maintain accurate compliance records.
