Logistics Finance Leader

hirify.global operates a Mexico City Global Capability Center supporting the North America Logistics Finance organization based in Chicago.

What you will do

• Lead and coach the Logistics Finance team while ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective business partnership.
• Deliver FP&A insights on transportation and warehouse spend, including trends, cost drivers, and efficiency opportunities.
• Oversee logistics-related month-end close activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Drive financial process automation and supervise purchase order reconciliations with third-party logistics providers.
• Own vendor settlement processes, validate digital productivity projects, and support MHE lease cost optimization.
• Partner with Chicago stakeholders to design and validate digital warehouse tools, including variable and fixed drivers, spotting and shuttling, and PECO pallets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of FP&A experience with exposure to logistics and good knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Practical knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Project and change management capabilities, with strong analytical, numerical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• A CPA, CMA, CGA, or an MBA in Accounting or Finance is an asset.
