What you will do
- Develop construction contract drawings and specifications for low-voltage communication and security systems in building and transit facilities.
- Support the design of Electronic Security Systems, including Video Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems.
- Work with fiber optic and copper cabling, low-voltage electrical distribution, conduit infrastructure, networks, RF communications, public address, passenger information, telephone, and wireless systems.
- Assist Senior Engineers with technical papers, reports, calculations, proposals, and presentations.
- Prepare probable construction cost estimates for equipment and installation.
- Conduct video surveillance camera coverage simulations and system layout evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or MicroStation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organization, planning, document control, and reporting skills.
- Initiative, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
