School Operations Manager (26-27) (School Operations): Managing daily school operations, attendance, transportation, family engagement, inventory, purchasing, and student technology systems with an accent on reliable service delivery and school-wide coordination. Focus on implementing attendance interventions, coordinating buses and meals, supporting families, maintaining operational systems, and developing the School Operations Associate.
Location: Austin, TX, USA; reports to the school site Monday-Friday. Minimal travel to other school sites or regional offices may be required.

What you will do
- Manage daily school procedures, including arrival, lunch, dismissal, substitute coverage, shared spaces, and front-office operations.
- Oversee busing, child nutrition logistics, field lesson transportation, meal ordering, and related operational processes.
- Coordinate school events, family engagement sessions, prospective-family tours, registration support, and school communications.
- Drive attendance initiatives through daily calls and interventions for chronically absent students.
- Maintain inventory, code invoices, collect fees, prepare deposits, and apply purchasing and accounting best practices.
- Manage supplies, copiers, student technology audits, device distribution, collection, and repair requests; develop the School Operations Associate.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of related work experience, including at least 2 years in operations or education.
- Strong project and time management, organization, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with frequent interruptions, make timely decisions, and remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable transportation for travel between campuses.
- Commitment to the KIPP Texas mission and the needs of students, families, and staff.
