TL;DR
Trade Compliance Coordinator (Import/Export and Supply Chain): Supporting import/export operations for a high-tech customer by managing trade compliance projects, resolving classification and valuation tickets, and advising on customs regulations with an accent on customer operations, trade automation, and regulatory change. Focus on testing workflows, developing procedural changes, prioritizing compliance risks, and coordinating decisions with stakeholders.

Location: Rozenburg, Netherlands; full-time onsite role. Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

What you will do

  • Support import/export operations and oversee complex trade compliance projects under the Onsite Trade Compliance Manager.
  • Monitor and resolve tickets involving classification, valuation, and product certificates.
  • Maintain reports, dashboards, presentations, project plans, action items, and scope tracking.
  • Test workflows in the internal trade automation system to support expansion into new warehouses and data centers.
  • Advise customers on customs regulations, trade-law changes, and procedural updates affecting import and export activities.
  • Lead project calls, communicate milestones, manage risks, and support new business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of import/export requirements, trade laws, classification, valuation, origin determination, and Incoterms.
  • 1–3 years of supply chain and customs brokerage experience in freight forwarding or 3PL.
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands is required.
  • Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, analytical, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including weekends.

Nice to have

  • Customs broker license or another relevant industry certification.
  • Understanding of complex country-specific trade requirements.
  • Travel availability of less than 5%.
