Principal / Sr. Staff Strategy Sourcing Specialist (Semiconductor NPI & Capacity)

Location: Zhubei, Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan 302; onsite, with no remote work available

What you will do

• Own procurement NPI readiness tracking before handover to mass production.
• Coordinate Product Group, package and test engineering, Supply Chain Management, OSAT buyers, and suppliers.
• Track technical definitions, RFQ readiness, supplier capability, cost, schedules, capacity, and open risks.
• Lead supplier segmentation and maintain preferred, backup, and exception supplier documentation.
• Monitor constraints across critical materials, testers, equipment, and bottleneck processes.
• Prepare management updates and drive mitigation plans for future capacity gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, program management, semiconductor manufacturing, or supplier management.
• Strong semiconductor supply chain background, with knowledge of NPI development, RFQ processes, supplier selection, capacity planning, and supply risk management.
• Experience working with engineering, product groups, supply chain teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Japanese language capability.
• Experience in OSAT, packaging, testing, substrates, materials, equipment, or foundry-related areas.
• Knowledge of bumping, FSM/BGBM, testers, and equipment capacity.
• Experience in supplier segmentation, strategic sourcing, or supplier portfolio management.
