TL;DR
Payroll Analyst (Payroll Operations): Managing and analyzing payroll data, controls, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities for the Americas region with an accent on multi-country payroll, payroll systems, and statutory requirements. Focus on validating pre-payroll results, supporting third-party payroll providers and implementation projects, and identifying process automation opportunities.
Location: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia; onsite, full-time

What you will do
- Ensure payroll data flows from internal applications into the payroll system before payroll deadlines.
- Support payroll accounting, payments, Time & Attendance, and long-term incentive processes.
- Perform pre-payroll checks, controls, variance analyses, reconciliations, and payroll reporting.
- Support payroll projects through testing, data management, process documentation, and system upgrades.
- Provide expertise on payroll calculations performed by third-party payroll providers and support multi-country payroll operations across the Americas.
- Resolve payroll inquiries and identify continuous improvement and automation opportunities, including responsible AI use and effective prompting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in payroll or HR operations for the Americas region.
- Knowledge of US payroll processing, regulations, and vendor practices.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills required.
- Experience with payroll reporting, reconciliations, statutory requirements, SOX compliance, internal controls, and payroll record maintenance.
- Research, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, confidentiality, and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- Payroll certification such as CPP or FPC.
- Experience with third-party payroll providers such as ADP, NGA, or SD Worx.
- Experience with e-Time, Kronos, Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP, or Workday.
- Experience with deployment or implementation projects and Finance or HR Shared Services in a multinational company.
