What you will do

  • Plan and maintain manufacturing production schedules, departmental workflows, and supply plans for components and finished products.
  • Manage order due dates and coordinate communication between Customer Service and production.
  • Initiate work orders with appropriate lot sizes and use MRP messages to maintain efficient production flow.
  • Coordinate materials and subcontract operations, monitor inventory, and maintain required service and quality levels.
  • Review production capacity and develop short- and long-term capacity plans, adjusting priorities and schedules as needed.
  • Develop contingency plans and operational procedures when demand, capacity, or material deviations affect customer delivery commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management or a related field with internship experience, or a high school diploma with significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 4 years of planning, production, and materials management experience.
  • Experience working in an MRP II environment.
  • Ability to manage production schedules, inventory levels, capacity constraints, and customer delivery requirements.
