Analytics Web Developer with AWS Experience

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; hybrid work with up to 3 days per week from home after initial in-person training. Fully remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support software applications for new and existing systems.
• Design and implement robust, flexible, and maintainable solutions.
• Communicate effectively with business users, team members, and management.
• Identify and present opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Understanding of object-oriented and/or functional design paradigms and best practices.
• Strong logical thinking and pattern-recognition skills, with the ability to adapt to ongoing change and learn new technologies.
• Understanding of web technologies based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, such as Angular.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies including Glue, SageMaker, Secrets Manager, SQS, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECR, CDK, SAM, and IAM.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with responsive design, SQL database design, ASP.NET, WebAPI, Core MVC, C#, F#, C++, automated testing, software development lifecycle practices, Agile methodologies, or Git.
