Email Security Operations Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor and investigate inbound and outbound email traffic for spam, phishing, spoofing, and abuse patterns.
• Analyze logs in Splunk to identify anomalies, suspicious behavior, and emerging threats.
• Execute blocking, quarantining, and escalation actions according to standard operating procedures.
• Validate SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication protocols and flag discrepancies.
• Support incident response by documenting findings, maintaining audit trails, and escalating critical risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors while meeting SLAs, quality benchmarks, and compliance standards in a 24x7 operational environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in email operations, Trust & Safety, or SOC environments.
• Working knowledge of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email delivery infrastructure.
• Experience with Splunk SIEM and email security tools such as O365 Defender and Proofpoint.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Taguig.
• Must have a PDP score of Exceeds Expectations or Outstanding, at least 18 months of tenure, and no active DA.
