TL;DR
Business Analyst (SQL/Excel): Gathering and translating business, functional, and technical requirements into specifications, documentation, and scalable solutions for enterprise customer projects with an accent on data analysis, software implementation, and customer collaboration. Focus on designing test scenarios, validating requirements with SQL and reporting tools, supporting SDLC activities, and coordinating solution delivery across cross-functional teams.
Location: Hybrid in Bogotá, Colombia — 3 days working from home and 2 days onsite at Torre Krystal offices

What you will do
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for customer projects.
- Define business processes, application requirements, integrations, reporting needs, dashboards, metrics, and data mappings with customers and stakeholders.
- Translate complex business needs into functional specifications and project documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support software configuration, data analysis, testing, deployment, and customer acceptance activities.
- Develop use cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test datasets, and maintain SDLC documentation.
- Identify process and workflow improvements while collaborating with Engineering, Product, Project Management, and Customer teams.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency at B2 or higher.
- Experience supporting implementations, software delivery, business analysis, or project teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, calculations, formulas, and problem-solving.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of SQL.
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting customer-facing projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise applications, integrations, reporting platforms, business intelligence tools, or databases.
- Experience supporting software implementations, testing activities, or SDLC processes.
