What you will do
- Assist with project closeout activities.
- Support production planners with work-order maintenance.
- Extract planned orders from the MRP system, verify product specifications, and issue work orders.
- Calculate production metrics, including item quantities, materials used, scrap amounts, and defect frequency.
- Provide administrative support by answering phones, filing documents, and greeting customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant experience in data entry, clerical work, manufacturing, inventory control, engineering, or technical operations.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.
