What you will do

  • Support the HMDA loan review team and maintain data integrity for regulatory reporting.
  • Perform reconciliations and certifications for loan-related accounts.
  • Monitor operational and compliance reports and recommend process improvements.
  • Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in HMDA data and related operational processes.
  • Assist with audits, regulatory examinations, quality control reviews, and special projects.
  • Provide customer service, resolve issues within established authority, and protect confidential customer and bank data.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Regulation C, including data collection, validation, integrity, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of HMDA reportable transactions, application types, action-taken categories, loan characteristics, and applicant demographic information.
  • Ability to work with HMDA validity, quality, and macro edit checks and support data quality-control processes.
  • Knowledge of HMDA LAR submission requirements, timelines, internal certification processes, and related regulatory risks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three years of banking or lending-related experience, including exposure to loan operations and the lending lifecycle.

Nice to have

  • Three or more years of experience in regulatory reporting or compliance-focused roles.
  • College degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, or quality-control reviews.
