Product Manager, Residential Comfort (HVAC)

Location: Aachen, Germany, with a hybrid working model combining office collaboration and remote work. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Germany; visa sponsorship or work authorization will not be provided.

What you will do

• Develop and execute product roadmaps based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
• Manage HVAC comfort products across the full lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, growth, and phase-out.
• Engage with customers to understand challenges, gather requirements, and identify product opportunities.
• Define product specifications and collaborate with engineering, project management, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams.
• Create business cases, including market analysis, value propositions, return-on-investment estimates, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
• Monitor competition and customer feedback while acting as the product expert throughout development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in product management, product development, application engineering, technical marketing, or a similar technical-commercial role.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex engineered products.
• Experience with product lifecycles, roadmaps, customer requirements, pricing, value propositions, and business cases.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across international and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English is required, and applicants must already have authorization to work in Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience in HVAC, climate technologies, industrial manufacturing, building systems, or another technical industry.
• Knowledge of heat pumps, compressors, refrigeration, or thermal management applications.
• Experience working directly with customers and gathering product requirements.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management methodologies and tools.
