What you will do
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, and execution.
- Provide commercial guidance on contract terms, risk management, and negotiation strategies.
- Support large infrastructure and high-tech equipment projects from a contractual and commercial perspective.
- Coordinate with project, legal, sales, supply chain, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to ensure contractual compliance.
- Monitor governance, regulatory, and export control requirements.
- Analyse commercial performance, improve contract management processes, and support decision-making across a global matrix organisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in contract and commercial management within complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and negotiation principles.
- Experience with contracts in high-tech or infrastructure project environments.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, commercial analytics, partnerships, subcontracting, and supplier agreements.
- Strong communication, influencing, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Commercially focused, detail-oriented, resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Nice to have
- Professional qualification in commercial or contract management, or a degree in business, law, or project management.
- Membership in a professional body such as RICS.
- Familiarity with NEC3, IET MF/1, export control, and defence contracting frameworks.
- Experience with integrated technology systems, project delivery methodologies, and global matrix organisations.
