Department Manager (Retail)

Location: Onsite in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: CAD 48,100–55,315 annually

What you will do

• Lead, support, and develop the department team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and scheduling.
• Manage the store’s customer experience, sales performance, budget goals, profitability, and commercial opportunities.
• Maintain visual merchandising, fashion presentation, garment care, stock levels, fitting-room routines, checkout operations, and price signage.
• Oversee omnichannel services and in-store tools such as Click & Collect, Smart Store, and the Instore Care App.
• Ensure clean and organized sales-floor, stockroom, and back-of-house areas, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, health and safety standards, and legal requirements.

• Strong leadership skills and willingness to take responsibility for a team.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and feedback skills.
• Ability to analyze sales, budgets, numbers, and performance statistics.
• Ambitious, achievement-oriented, customer-focused, and motivated by performance and competition.
• Ability to work onsite at the Prince George, British Columbia, Canada store.
