Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using AWS services.
• Develop data transformations with Python, Java, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.
• Work with Databricks and Dataiku for data engineering and analytics use cases.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure with CloudFormation and Terraform, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with data, technology, and business teams while maintaining technical and SDLC documentation.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in data engineering and scalable cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, IAM, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java and SQL; strong Redshift experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Spark or PySpark, plus Databricks and/or Dataiku.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, CloudFormation, Terraform, data engineering, and SDLC practices.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DSCS and DPTM.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams.
