Location: San Marcos, Texas, USA; full-time, on-site position.

What you will do

• Create a positive, disciplined, and safe classroom and shop environment.
• Teach machining career-technical content using varied instructional approaches.
• Prepare lesson plans and align curriculum with industry standards and training achievement requirements.
• Track attendance, student progress, evaluations, case notes, training records, and required reports.
• Develop industry partnerships supporting work-based learning, internships, credentials, and job placement.
• Assist students with placement into jobs, military service, college, apprenticeships, or advanced training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Vocational trade experience preferred.
• Certification, licensure, or accreditation in Texas, or accreditation by a professional trade organization.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to follow safety practices, applicable operating requirements, and corporate policies.
