TL;DR
Principal DSP Software Engineer (Embedded C/C++): Designing, developing, integrating, evaluating, and verifying DSP audio filters, algorithms, and embedded solutions with an accent on real-time software, audio frameworks, and fixed-point implementation. Focus on optimizing low-footprint, low-latency, and low-power DSP systems, developing test benches for simulation and target hardware, and resolving complex technical issues through production.
Location: Athens or Patras, Greece; onsite only

What you will do
- Design, develop, integrate, evaluate, and verify DSP audio filters and algorithms.
- Design and implement embedded hardware and software DSP filters, algorithms, and solutions.
- Specify, develop, and optimize DSP audio frameworks for real-time embedded systems.
- Develop test benches for DSP algorithms and embedded code in simulation and on target hardware.
- Debug technical issues and provide support from product requirements through production.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and report defects using issue-tracking tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and approximately 6+ years of deep experience in embedded software development.
- Excellent knowledge of DSP, MCU, IC, audio codec, and embedded architectures.
- Strong real-time embedded C/C++ programming and DSP algorithm development skills.
- Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB, with knowledge of fixed-point implementation.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and software development workflow skills.
- Ability to work to tight schedules in a multi-site, multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with audio, digital filtering, headphones, wireless earbuds, and portable audio applications.
- Experience optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power.
- Previous team-leading or technical-leading experience.
- Familiarity with Jenkins and other CI tools.
- Experience using SystemC.
