What you will do
- Interpret complex mechanical drawings, CAD/CAM models, and technical documentation to define machining strategies.
- Program, set up, calibrate, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, EDM, and specialized machining equipment.
- Plan machining projects, coordinate resources, and oversee production of complex precision components.
- Conduct test cycles, inspections, and precision measurements using metrology equipment including CMM.
- Lead tooling management, preventive and corrective maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor machinists and operators while enforcing safety, environmental, quality, and production requirements.
Requirements
- ITI certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification; engineering education is an advantage.
- At least 8 years of proven CNC operator experience.
- Experience operating CNC machinery, managing tooling, and using precision measurement equipment including CMM.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of programming and CAD/CAM.
- Fluent English, Russian, and Kazakh; work based in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
