What you will do
- Maintain and enhance legacy COBOL applications hosted on the iSeries platform.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand system requirements and design specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and help improve coding standards.
- Document application changes and support system testing.
- Work with the IT team to integrate applications and maintain performance.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and logic.
- Ability to write SQL queries and basic understanding of Java.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn COBOL, iSeries platform management, and new technologies; comprehensive COBOL training is provided.

- Prior experience with any programming language.
