Cloud Network Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hybrid position in Bogotá, Colombia at Cra 7ma #156-10, Edificio North Point Torre Krystal, Usaquén.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT gateways, and VPN connections.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform following Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues involving networking, Kubernetes clusters, AWS services, VPN connectivity, and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Kubernetes networking, authentication, and cluster connectivity.
• Maintain secure connectivity between AWS resources such as EC2, RDS, and other cloud services.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud security improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud networking, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and networking, including VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPN, security groups, route tables, and load balancers.
• Strong Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, including networking and authentication.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, IPsec VPNs, and network security principles.
• English proficiency at B2 or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Linux system administration and scripting experience.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
