Employer Partnership & Placement Specialist - Medical Assisting

Location: Campus-based in Fremont, Concord, San Jose, or Hayward, California, with regular in-person employer outreach and regional travel.

Salary: $32–$36 per hour; hourly, non-exempt, and non-commission-based. Mileage is reimbursed for employer partnership development activities.

What you will do

• Build and grow partnerships with medical offices, clinics, urgent care centers, specialty practices, hospital systems, and other healthcare employers.
• Generate job leads and job orders for Medical Assisting graduates.
• Match graduates with roles based on employer needs, graduate readiness, and likelihood of hire.
• Coach graduates on resumes, interviews, job-search strategy, and professional follow-up.
• Coordinate hiring activity from resume submission through interviews, offers, starts, and employment verification.
• Track employer development, pipeline activity, placement outcomes, and audit-ready employment records.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, business development, workforce placement, sales, career services, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in lead generation, employer relationship development, candidate matching, and producing hires or placements.
• Strong communication, cold outreach, follow-up, organization, relationship management, and independent-work skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PowerBI, CampusVue/CampusNexus, ATS, or CRM systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare hiring, allied health, outpatient clinics, medical offices, or employment reporting and compliance is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance are required.
